Our area has developed massively in the last decade. But, it’s obvious that little effort has been made to create real wild spaces to foster ecological diversity and to bring a bit of nature in to our city neighbourhood.
So, the local Lib Dem team are campaigning to make the area around ‘Gnome Island’ into a nature reserve, so that we can protect the bird species that naturally congregate there and harness extra resources to keep it clear of litter.
